Angular-based Progressive Web Application for manufacturing shop-floor operations management.
The brief
Build a responsive, PWA-enabled Angular frontend for a manufacturing shop-floor management system ("ShopFloor") from scratch — integrating with existing backend APIs and OneLogin SSO, based on Figma designs — to digitize daily production tracking, learning workflows, and continuous improvement processes for factory floor workers and managers at the Ponta manufacturing plant.
What we built
A full-featured Angular PWA called "ShopFloor" for a manufacturing client (Ponta facility). The platform digitizes shop-floor operations across:
- Daily Performer module for production tracking by operator/batch/shift with stoppage logs
- Dashboard with role-based analytics and dynamic charts
- Learning Management System for assigning, approving, and reporting on associate training
- Self-Initiative and Cost Kaizen modules for continuous improvement submissions
- EHS cross-action sight reporting
- Admin panel for equipment masters, user roles, HR data, and master configuration
- OneLogin enterprise SSO with multi-role provisioning
- PWA support for mobile shop-floor access. The system was deployed across multiple plant units (Unit 3 explicitly) with a dedicated CI/CD pipeline.
The ShopFloor application is live in production across multiple plant units (including Unit 3) at the Ponta manufacturing facility. Deployed modules include: Daily Performer tracking, Dashboard analytics, Learning Management (assign/approve/report), Self-Initiative and Cost Kaizen, EHS reporting, and the Admin panel. The application is accessible as a PWA on mobile devices and is secured via OneLogin SSO with role-based access control. A dedicated CI/CD pipeline supports ongoing deployments.
